Power Trail: ABOV Mega Trail

When it comes to statistics you want to go for power trails. Power trails are caches placed along a route that most of them can be picked up in a short time, perfect for teams to cycle or ride along the trail. Sometimes you even find power trails where you have to hike.

This trail is on my radar, which means I'm planning to start doing it this year.

AMT caches
This trail has more than 450 caches, that is for sure not a single day caching trip. Not to mention it is across the border. As both Slovakia and Hungary are in EU, if you got into one of the countries it should be no problem entering the other. I would suggest to make sure you have your passport or ID with you all the way.

When you plan to do a trail, always prepare properly, get some empty and dry logbooks/logrolls in your bag, have more than one pen, I hope no one ever had the experience of searching for an hour then find and your pen does not work. You could even have some extra containers, in case it is a trivial missing. My experience on trails is that some just bring a new container, so you could also collect some extra when you find the original and the added extra.

The first cache of the trail is GC6DC3K.

I will keep this blog updated as I get some of the greens turn yellow.
