Geocache: Mini library

When the weather is bad and you are not in the mood to go out to find some geocaches... Wait a minute, can that happen? Seriously? No way ... Ok, so if you also like to read you might have your own library at home, you might even have a library pass, or you might even go to the library. Unfortunately I do not have the luxury of time to do so many things, but for sure when there is a mini library on a street and there is a geocache in it that is one I want to visit.

A really nice sunny morning, perfect time to go for geocaching. See the tiny geocache I places on the library? In some other mini libraries they mostly hide the geocache in a book, or a bigger container, but this might have happened later then the library and they did not want to mix the two purpose of it.

I was always thinking of who startes such a small library? Maybe they have no more space inside the house? Or they just love to share their books with outhers? We also have many books and from time to time we also need to give some away, maybe we'll start bringing one book at a time with us on our geocaching adventure and when we come across a mini library we'll donate it to them.

I was trying to make some cool pictures of this geocache, but the truth is that the sun was shining so bright that I had a chance only from this angle, and then I was on the picture as well.

Keep in mind that these type of geocaches are in residential areas and such people live there, so always respoect the request of the CO in regards to when to go and search for the geocache.

Many thanks for this hide for the CO and I have to mention that we saw something else that was really cool in there, a book which is playing in bookcrossing. I heard of that before and saw one other book close to another geocache previously, but never really thought of it. So this time I decided I will check out that and maybe start a book on its journey.

It is one of the sneaky hides out there. Can be disappointing for new geocachers, but when you first manage to spot one of these you will be really happy. Hard to spot when inserted If you plan to hide one like this, make sure you do not hurt the tree, they are alive and this game is more peaceful than that. You do not need much to replicate this hide, only a piece of branch, a hole in a tree, a container and a screw. Make sure to use the same type of branch as the tree or else it will be too obvious. The above cache is located in the Netherlands in a small park, it was really nice to walk around there and find this geocache.

Geocache: Get the film out of the pipe

Now this is one of those geocaches that I heard of but never saw one personally till the day we were in Belgium on the road back to the Netherlands. It all started with let's stop at a geocache to avoid highway and then came look there is another one just a few meters down the road, and this was the one. Guess what we kept on going on with that serie as there were many cool hides out there. The film is ready to be caught ... When we turned on that dirt road and I spotted the geocache from the car I got so excited that I did not really pull down thinking who else would come this way. We jumped out and went for the geocache with a huge smile on our face, finally we meet one of these. The geocache is not too much hidden A pipe with many holes attached to a tree. Geocache: Underground TB Hotel

New players mostly do not know what TB stands for and why are TB Hotels so cool and important. Let me start with the TB, that stands for Travel Bug, but in general all trackable items are referred by this abbreviation. TB Hotels are geocaches, mostly bigger ones in size where multiple TBs can lodge safely. Be aware that not all TB Hotels are equally safe, just like hotels, depending on their neighborhood they can be where you do not want to stay. TB hotel with 6 rooms This TB Hotel was in an urban area, at the corner of some parking lot. Really nice little town. When we arrived and read the hint it was trivial where to search, but when saw the entrance below I was not sure why is it a TB Hotel, the entrance itself was not too promising.
